I caught this Mahi Mahi in my 12 foot dingy about a half mile off of Elbow Cay. Mahi are known for going crazy when they hit the deck of the boat and this guy was no different. I knew he was “green” when we flung him into the boat, and of course he went crazy. Nalu our pup didn’t know what to do. My friend Ian and I ended up practically diving on the fish to try to keep it from flopping out. All the while, trying our best not to pop a whole in the inflatable boat.
